Journal description

Sustainable Environment and Architecture Journal (JSEA) is an open access, quarterly FREE CHARGE Publication .The title publishes original research papers, reviews, case studies and short communication covering all aspects of energy and environment. JSEA’s published articles are freely available to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose (cite JSEA), without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. This Journal is committed to follow the Ethics in Publishing Committee (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical law. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through a trustworthy software named iThenticate to be assured about its originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by the international reviewers. The JSEA journal has been indexed in the well-known world databases mainly; EBSCO, Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), WorldCat, Google Scholar and Magiran, etc. JSEA has also gained a Scientific rank "B" from the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology.

Open access policy

Definition of Open Access Publication from Bethesda Statement on Open Access Publishing: An Open Access Publication is one that meets the following two conditions:

1.      The author(s) and copyright holder(s) grant(s) to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access to, and a license to copy, use, distribute, transmit and display the work publicly and to make and distribute derivative works, in any digital medium for any responsible purpose, subject to proper attribution of authorship, as well as the right to make small numbers of printed copies for their personal use.

2.      A complete version of the work and all supplemental materials, including a copy of the permission as stated above, in a suitable standard electronic format is deposited immediately upon initial publication in at least one online repository that is supported by an academic institution, scholarly society, government agency, or other well-established organization that seeks to enable open access, unrestricted distribution, interoperability, and long-term archiving (for the biomedical sciences, PubMed Central is such a repository).

All articles published in Sustainable Environment and Architecture Journal  are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share. Articles are published under the terms of a Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) which permits:
